Preventive Telehealth Research, Inc
Preventive Telehealth Research, Inc. (PTRI) is the nonprofit arm of Global Telehealth Services, Inc. It was created with the intent of conducting research with various technologies designed to reduce hospital readmission rates and monitoring patients remotely. The research will be funded by grants awarded from public and private sources with the intent to improve and or propose innovative models of care using telehealth technologies. The research will not be patient specific, but rather have a comprehensive approach.
The business concept of GTS includes data mining, warehousing and processing. The ability to have data will be invaluable for publications, evidence-based medicine applications, and grants. PTRI will seek Federal, State, and local grant funding opportunities. It will also approach private foundations and will be able to align and or partner with other nonprofits to enhance grant funding opportunities.
The PTRI Board of Directors will lead the efforts of partnering with other institutions, community-based organizations and others interested in the research of innovative models of healthcare delivery through technologies. PTRI Board of Directors brings significant skill set that will enhance and contribute to the efforts and success of the organization.
Preventive Telehealth Research, Inc. will conduct research into various state-of-the-art telehealth technologies to reduce hospital readmission rates, keep patients at home in a safe comfortable environment and contribute to the overall betterment of healthcare delivery.
Preventive Telehealth Research, Inc will be a recognized leader in developing new technology-based concepts for the delivery of cost efficient and effective patient monitoring.
