July 22, 2024. Global Telehealth Services (GTS), an industry leading Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) platform, today announced that the GTS VirtualHealth Platform (GTS-VP) has been designated as Federal Risk and Authorization Management (FedRAMP) Authorized at the Moderate impact level. This is a follow up to having been granted an Authority to Operate (ATO) by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), who sponsored GTS for FedRAMP.
FedRAMP is the government-wide program that manages and enforces the assessment, authorization, and monitoring to ensure commercial cloud services can be consumed by the Federal government. FedRAMP is the “gold-standard” for security, resiliency, and scalability for cloud services and the GTS-VP is the only RPM solution in the FedRAMP Marketplace.
The GTS-VP is available through an enterprise Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with VA held by V3Gate (Contract No.: 36C10A23D0005, Award Date: 7/27/23) through Carahsoft as the distributor. The GTS-VP is currently in use within the VA, delivering RPM services in multiple geographic areas.
Capable of addressing any disease state or medical condition and accepting readings from any type of remote medical device; delivering customized surveys and assessment; secure messaging and teleconferencing; and the ability to deliver curated educational material, the GTS-VP is taking RPM toward “treatment at distance,” which is important to providing care to veterans who may have extreme difficulty making a trip to the healthcare facility.
